So, I haven't posted here regularly here in a while. Back when did, it was often, because of a sense of community. People were commenting and favoriting and I got a decent amount of feedback. Then I discovered Tumblr, and it was awesome. There was an immediacy to the reaction to my art. Things could "Blow-up" if I tickled the fancy of the right niche community. Then that porn thing happened and all the artists and art lovers kinda just left. I still see great art there but I've have lost that interaction. I'm lucky to get a handful of reblogs. no one shares my art anymore. which might sound like a childish complaint but with no feedback, love or interaction where is the incentive. Yknow?


Da, I always felt lost here among the sea of posts so I naturally faded away. posting when I remembered this site exists. Now I'm wondering if I should make an effort to try here again and fade from Tumblr.


With that, whoever comes across this, do you have similar issues with the mentioned sites? Any advice at all. I kinda hate twitter and Reddit has gotten some good results but I don't enjoy posting there. Instagram is... ok. Let me know your thoughts if any of my followers here are still active. I'm gonna try to roll out some of the things I missed uploading here. I dunno. Where should I go?

I  was robbed. Lost like 80% of the things I owned of value. Including my computer. Friends of mine, the enterVOID community, donated some cash to help me out which ridiculously kind of them, in a way I can't really express. I'll thank them properly when I'm fully up and running again(maybe even repay them if things go well enough). Buncha good eggs, check out the  enterVOID site if you haven't. It's for people who like making comics. Speaking of which...

I have two major projects I'm working.

1) my web comic, "The Devil Created Spices". Losing all my ink and color sucks but I still have my original pencil work. The upside to working traditionally. This will give me time to a chance to redraw a lot of it.

2) I working on an animation project with some friends.  I'll upload some of the work I've done for that in the near future. The school I went to allows alumni to return and use the facilities. I can only really make it there about once a week and this is what it will be for. More details later.

So, amongst Multiple Job interviews (wish me luck) and life and general. A friend and I have been assembling a team animators and we'll be working together to make something great. even though we are in very early stages I'll update y'all as it goes along. 

But the big news is I have completed my newest Comic Starring May Wu for a battle over at Entervoid.com . Go and vote here! Not a member? Sign up! it's a ton of fun and filled with artist SO much better than myself all interested in comics and other cool things. Do it.

We can talk other forms if necessary. 

The line art must be paid up front while I only need half to begin the colored drawing. (other half paid on completion)
